New work by Bev Hill and Jim Martin

Hill and Martin have been friends for several decades and have frequently shown work at local venues. This is their first collaborative show.

Bev Hill is an artist, instructor, paper crafter, and designer. Hill cites her mother and grandmother as inspirations for her creativity. Her approach is eclectic and is not constrained to any particular style or media. As she notes “if I love it, it will always blend and go together”.

Jim Martin is an artist and social scientist. Martin’s work is abstract and shifts across various media: acrylic, collage, alcohol ink, and pen work are frequent tools. While not intentionally symbolic, Martin notes that he processes emotions and consequential personal and societal events through his work.
