When we think of “erotic art,” sensuality is what comes to mind. Each of us has a different perspective and experience in regards to desire, passion, and sensuality. Sharing those interpretations are what makes an erotic art show exciting, engaging, and FUN. The world could use an extra dose of love and levity right now. Banana SPLIT is inspired by Omaha’s original Biennial Erotic Art Show that began in the late 1980’s at the 13th Street Gallery Collective. The show later moved to the Antiquarium and was a beloved event of Omaha’s art community with its liberating theme. Artwork from more than 30 artists will be featured in this show, showcasing individual interpretations of eroticism in a variety of mediums.
